Chapter 6 (part 2)> Forgetting Everything...

*Boolkottnooli River, 12 a.m...

Kibum walks slowly with his wobbly legs and sore throat. his eyes are swollen and he really looked like a zombie right now. luckily, the street is empty. so, no one sees him looking like a walking dead. he can't even walk straight right now. if people see him like this, they probably will think that he's drunk. just then, his phone vibrates and hastily, he answers it...

Jinwoon: Ya! Kibum-ah! where are u??
Kibum: Uh... na...
Jinwoon: Ya! what happened to u??
Kibum: No, nothing... can u come here? i don't think i could walk...
Jinwoon: Huh? sure, sure... where are u??
Kibum: Hana...
Jinwoon: Hana?? what're u doing there??
Kibum: Just, just come ok?
Jinwoon: Ne... which part?
Kibum: Boolkottnooli River..

Kibum sighs and sits on a bench. his hand clutches the scarf and the rind. pain starts to exert to his whole body. he pulls himself together and bums his head on his knees. trying to bear the pain. not long after that, Jinwoon shows up with his bike. (motorbike)

Jinwoon: (takes his helmet off) Kibum!
Kibum: (raise head) Uh?
Jinwoon: (approaches) Ya! what happened to u? u look awful??
Kibum: Uh... (rubs his eyes) no, nothing...
Jinwoon: Hey... (sits) musun iliya?
Kibum: amugeothdo..
Jinwoon: Don't lie...
Kibum: Uh... just take me home...
Jinwoon: (sighs) Geez... can't u just tell me what're u doing here?
Kibum: Uh... (show him the ring)
Jinwoon: Huh? (looks) a ring?
Kibum: (shows him the scarf)
Jinwoon: (weird face) Who's?
Kibum: Mine and... EunShi's...
Jinwoon: How'd it get here?
Kibum: Remember u said if i ever made a promise to her?
Jinwoon: Uh, ne...
Kibum: Well actually, i did make one...
Jinwoon: U do??

Jinwoon: What's it got to do with these stuff?
Kibum: I'll tell u later... can u take me home now?
Jinwoon: (shakes head and stands) Arasseo... (takes a helmet) here...

Jinwoon: (wear his helmet and hop on the bike) Hop on..
Kibum: Ne... (hop on)

*Lee's House...

That night, after Ahn left, EunShi sits on her window and gazes at the stars. it's already 1 a.m. but she wasn't sleepy yet. just then, someone knocks her door. it's Onew...

Onew: Uh, can, can i come in?
EunShi: Ne...
Onew: (enters) Um... (looks around) Neo gwenchana?
EunShi: (rubs head) Ne...
Onew: EunShi...
EunShi: Mwo?
Onew: (approaches) Mi, mianhae...
EunShi: What for?
Onew: Earlier... i, uh...

EunShi: Huh? (raise shoulders)

Onew: (stands and sighs) U can tell me anything u know...
EunShi: (nods) Arayo...
Onew: (shakes head) Get some sleep...
EunShi: After i clean this mess... (looks on the floor)
Onew: I'll help...
EunShi: (stands) No! gwenchana... i, i can do it myself...
Onew: Really?
EunShi: (nods) Ye..
Onew: (pats EunShi's head) call me if u need anything...
EunShi: Ne...
Onew: (walks away) Good night... (closes door)
EunShi: Night...

Onew walks straight to his room and slams himself onto his bed. trying to forgot what he did before. he closes his eyes. but, he can't sleep. slowly, he walks to his study table and opens his laptop. his hand scrolls the mouse up and down. clicking this and that, then closes it back. he stares at the screen. really, he did not know what to do. unknowingly, he clicked a photo folder. it's full of his school photos. from grade school to junior high, till now. he scrolls the mouse down, randomly looking at the photos. he accidentally click a photo and it enlarges. it's a photo of a girl. he freezes. his eyes stabbed on the girl's photo. unconsciously, tears fall on his face. his heart starts to hurt and, he cries in front of his laptop and one by one memories came to his mind... he can't forget it. he can't forget anything. he stills remember everything. everything...

*EunShi's room...

EunShi sits on the floor. staring at the mess. her heart feels heavy but she knows that she can keep this up. she has to stop being like this. she pulls the box she takes earlier, and picks up the stuff on the floor. stationeries, cards, key-chains, souvenirs, all sorts of things. all of it were gifts from Kibum. during their time together. her heart sinks every time she puts it away in the box. holding back her tears, she quickly puts everything in the box and lifts it up. as she passes her dressing table, her eyes caught something. her ears. something on her ears. she stares at the mirror and realizes something...

Kibum: What're u doing today?

Kibum: Let's catch a movie! (smiles)

Kibum: Who's kid?
EunShi: No one... (smirks)
Kibum: Neol... (pinches cheek)
EunShi: Ouch! that hurt!
Kibum: (mehrong) Serves u right!!
EunShi: Ya!! (pulls his ear) ouch!!

EunShi: What's on ur ear?? (hold her thumbs)
Kibum: Huh? (touches his ear) Ah, my earring...
EunShi: U wears one??
Kibum: Uh? ne... wae? u never seen it?
EunShi: Never...

EunShi: Uh... (made a face)

Kibum: Wait up... (put his earring on EunShi's ear) now, (smiles) u wear mine... n i'll take urs...
EunShi: (touches her ear) But...
Kibum: Fair and square right? u can wear mine, but i can never wear this. it's a girl's earring... (smiles)
EunShi: Uh... ok then... (smiles)
Kibum: Good. u must never take it off ok?
EunShi: (nods) Ne!
Kibum: Great! (rubs her head)
EunShi: Ah, my hair!!
Kibum: Hehehe.. i like ur messy hair!! (rubs harder)
EunShi: Kibum!! (hits him)
Kibum: (laughs happily) Hehehe...

Quickly, she takes it off and throws it into the box. just remembering about that made her sad. so, unwilling to remember anything else, she walks towards her door. opens it slowly in order not to disturb Onew. she creeps to downstairs and heads to the kitchen. she takes a lighter and opens the back door. with shaking hands, she throws the bow into the fireplace and light it up. it didn't take long before the fire completely 'eats' the whole thing. as she stares at it, her heart hurts so much. but, she didn't mind it. as the fire burns everything, it took away herself as well. all the memories that she buried inside, all the feelings she kept inside. everything. she wants to forget about it. she didn't want to have the slightest memory about it. she's forgetting everything. everything...
